  1. MPtoTeX transforms a MetaPost input file into a TeX input file by
  2. stripping out all the btex...etex and verbatimtex...etex sections.

  7. - If you are using System 7 or later then you don't need to run MPtoTeX
  8.   manually -- MetaPost automatically calls it if required.

  10. - The output file created by MPtoTeX is called mpx.tex.  This file can be
  11.   typeset by OzTeX to create mpx.dvi (suitable for further processing by
  12.   DVItoMP).

  14. - MPtoTeX can prepend a header file to mpx.tex.  OzMP's Default config
  15.   sets mptotex_header to :MetaPost:Inputs:Plain.header so that OzTeX
  16.   will use the Plain format.  A LaTeX.header file is also supplied
  17.   in case you want to use LaTeX (for example, you might prefer to
  18.   use LaTeX commands in your verbatimtex sections).
